Private LEssons

Private lessons are focused on building a training plan that works for your family and your dog in the environment where you need the behaviors the most. Our goal with Private Lessons is to teach you the skills and exercises needed to help you and your dog be successful at moving toward your training goals together in harmony. We believe in judgement free learning and encourage all members of your family to participate in lessons when possible.

All Private Lessons begin with an Initial Lesson. During your Phone Consultation, you and your trainer will discuss the best path for getting started based on you and your dogs unique needs.

Initial Virtual Lesson: 90 - 120 minutes $180 - 240

Many people find doing their Initial Lesson virtually beneficial. We will be discussing your life with your dog as well as your dogs medical, environmental, social, and behavioral history in depth. We also want to address your concerns and questions, and have time to go over training exercises for you to practice until our next lesson. Skip the stress of a new person being there, and feel prepared for when we transition to In Person Lessons.

If your dog is nervous, fearful, anxious or overly excitable, we recommend doing the Initial Lesson virtually. This allows us to set you and your dog up for success by having a plan in place before we are there in person.

Follow up Virtual Lessons: 60 minutes $120

Initial In Person Lesson: 90 - 120 minutes $200 - 270

Behavior Consulting

Initial Virtual Behavioral Consultation: 90 - 120 minutes $225 - 300

Behavior consulting focuses on teaching you why your dogs behavior is happening, what exactly is happening to them, how we can create meaningful and long lasting change, and then getting you there together. The goal is to work on changing your dogs emotional capacity and help build better decision making skills. We may work on teaching them how to regulate themselves, teaching you how to recognize moments of distress in your dog and how to give them support, and how to manage difficult situations considering all aspects of your dogs life. We may also correspond and work with your dogs veterinary team to ensure a comprehensive and cohesive care plan.

If your dog is nervous, fearful, anxious or overly excitable, we recommend doing the Initial Lesson virtually. This allows us to set you and your dog up for success by having a plan in place before we are there in person.
