Gear
There are so many different options when it comes to gear for our dogs! Here is a list of the options that we trust the most.

This is a great harness that easily fits a variety of dogs! It has so many points of adjustment that it's easy to fit, and it clips around a dogs neck vs going over their head, which is great for our nervous dogs. The only con? It doesn't come in pretty colors
This harness is a great option also. It is more accesable than the Balance Harness (you can even find it in stores sometimes) and it comes in a ton of pretty colors! The fit isn't ideal for every dog, but its a great option for the majority of dogs.
We love long lines, and we tend to lean biothane over nylon for our long lines. Biothane long lines are much easier to keep clean (just wipe it down) and they float in the water for safe long line swimming. They are also less likely to give you rope burn! If you want to have real fun, check out Palomine Lines and get a custom long line or leash!
A treat pouch will be your best friend when training with your dog! Having treats available right on your hip makes life so much easier, especially when working on leash walking or skills in public. This is our favorite one (don't worry they make a smaller version too).
Everybody tends to like different leashes, but we love a good biothane leash. Just like with long lines, these leashes are easier to keep clean and nice and soft on the hands. Mental Stimulation
Mental stimulation is one of the most important and helpful tools to use with our dogs, especially mental stimulation that creates calm in our dogs. These are some of our favorite tools to use to encourage calm while stimulating our dogs either through chewing, licking or sniffing.
Chews
Chew options for our dogs are also majorly important, and we especially love these two options, and most of the dogs we work with do as well. Both of these are non-edible chews.
Treats
What treats to use are one of the most common questions we get asked. Really, the answer to that is up to your dog! They're the ones that need to find it the most reinforcing. But here are a few that generally work well for us and our students.
