Elvis is a class act! We were lucky enough to meet this handsome man recently and we cannot believe he is still there! Elvis is a nearly 5 year old young man with so much love and spunk to give! He loves to work and is very food motivated. In the short time we spent with him he showed us that he knows sit and down, has great potential for heeling, and would possibly make a great Obedience or Rally Obedience buddy!
The staff at Texas Humane Heroes have similar positive things to say! He was surrendered to them due to allergy issues that are now under control with a grain free diet and a medication every other week or so. He does well with other dogs, but is unknown around cats. He does get a little nervous with strangers, and is very unsure about kids. A home with no young kids would probably be best, and someone who is willing to do some training to help him feel more comfortable with new people. The good news is that he LOVES to train and would be a really
fun training buddy.
For anyone looking for a distinguished, active buddy who doesn't need all the puppy training, this is the guy for you. He has a lot of spunk for an older looking gentleman and definitely doesn't act his age. We fell in love with him pretty quickly, and we know someone else will too!
